Position Description:
Digital Media and Technology
- Write and create engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, etc.
- Make data-driven decisions around landing page optimization, linking strategies, SEO tag optimization and content addition
- Analyze key metrics to tweak strategies as needed and monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of email marketing and social media campaigns
- Work with internal teams to generate new ideas and plans to increase traffic to the website
- Work with internal teams to create and update accurate and detailed company information pages on the website
- Improve company's organic search results
- Use technology to create content for social media platforms including engaging video
- Assist in the webinar / online / live production of Star Mountain’s semi-annual investor meetings including creating video content and managing the logistics of streaming the meetings live
- Monitor and report on metrics such as page ranking, site traffic trends, etc.
- Monitor social media trends and present new ideas that will enhance the current content strategy
- Maintain flexibility with changing projects and fluctuating deadline
Events
- Pre, during and post event management (both Star Mountain ran events and webinars and where a Star Mountain partner is participating such as a conference)
- Leveraging Star Mountain’s team and database of relationships to find the best point of entry for potential investments or potential investors
- Managing and further improving highly organized and standardized processes to leverage the entire team’s time most effectively. This includes maximizing ideas for Star Mountain’s in-house tech team and leveraging Star Mountain’s full-time data support team.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Experience using, posting to and managing social media platforms and tools including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram etc.
- The ability to identify sharable social media content
- Familiarity with Google analytics or other traffic and analytic and content optimization tools
- Experience via an internship with Web design, HTML5, CSS, WordPress, Yoast SEO and Google Ads
- Experience with email content creation tools such as Campaigner, Dynamics Marketing, Klaviyo, Constant Contact or similar.
- Experience in event management and or relationship management
- Ability to meet deadlines and create content that is consistently free of factual and grammatical errors
- Highly skilled with MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word for presentational purposes and Camtasia for video production
- Must have great attitude, excellent communication and people skills, integrity and high work ethic
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- Positive culture and attitude along with top quality execution required
Timing: Immediate
Location: New York or option to work from Star Mountain’s Florida office.
Compensation: Base, bonus and equity package within a heavily aligned organizational culture.
