Summary:
The Business Development Analyst / Associate is part of a team responsible for assisting in developing and nurturing relationships with sophisticated investors including pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, and insurance companies as well as business owners which we invest in. Daily responsibilities will include pipeline and calendar management, research, CRM maintenance and telephone reach out and follow-up. Role will also include assisting with relationship and brand development via events and digital media. Position Description:
- Assist Senior Team to develop and nurture relationships with sophisticated institutional clients, such as pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, and insurance companies.
- Develop and maintain potential client pipelines and follow-up efforts in coordination with Senior Team.
- Monitor and maintain Senior Team calendars and contacts in CRM and Outlook; coordinate internal and external meetings of individuals at all levels.
- Update and manage client contact information and meeting notes in CRM.
- Create and maintain various reports to support all fundraising efforts.
- Prospect new clients and book in person meeting appointments.
- Perform research and data analyses to drive insights and inform recommendations on investor prospects.
- Attend and help manage meetings, industry events, and conferences including meeting with potential clients.
- Research and provide internal team with regular updates on current and prospective clients.
- Maintain flexibility with changing projects and fluctuating deadline.
Required Qualifications:

Location: New York or option to work from Star Mountain’s Florida office.
Compensation: Base, bonus and equity package within a heavily aligned organizational culture.
