Position Description:
The Client Services & Office Management Professional will be a front-facing figure of Star Mountain’s Tampa, FL office, helping greet, develop and manage relationships consisting of investors, business owners and other deal flow referral sources (i.e., commercial banks, legal and accounting firms, etc.) through a combination of in-person and virtual events as well as telephonic outreach. This represents a unique opportunity to join an established, entrepreneurial team led by executives with decades of experiences across top investment management firms nationwide.
- Greeting relationships and developing strong rapport with them predominantly in the Star Mountain office as well as at out-of-office events
- Coordinate meetings between internal and external constituents including scheduling, arranging catering, and developing meeting agendas
- Assist with human resources management and recruiting, as well as assisting with management of the year-round internship program
- Work directly with senior team members to manage key investor relationships
- Engage with universities to help with interns, vetting and onboarding
- Research prospective investors, coordinate initial meetings / conference calls and provide introductory information in a timely and thoughtful manner
- Prepare materials, travel logistics and event management in relation to investor meetings, conferences, and other business development activities in and around the Tampa area
- General assistance as needed, inclusive of CRM system / relationship maintenance
- Other duties may include outreach to wealth management, family offices, high net worth individuals, and university career offices to educate these constituencies about Star Mountain's brand and capabilities
- Oversee a well-managed, professional and organized office environment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, ideally in business / marketing or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience, ideally in a business development, office management, investor relations or similar capacity within a financial or professional services firm
- Work from Star Mountain's newly established Tampa, FL office
