You will also support campaigns, media coordination, and outreach efforts that increase awareness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage a multi-channel content strategy and calendar across web, email, and social media to promote programs, events, and initiatives.
-
Write, edit, and publish high-quality content including news updates, spotlights, partner/community announcements, and program promotions.
-
Support external communications and media coordination, including responding to inquiries, preparing communications materials, and assisting with outreach.
-
Gather and package impact stories, testimonials, and program results into clear, accessible formats for diverse audiences and stakeholders.
-
Maintain brand consistency across platforms, ensuring messaging, tone, and visual standards align with NBMC’s identity.
-
Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions) and use insights to refine content and improve results over time.
-
Support event communications, promotion, and community engagement activities as required (before, during, and after events).
Qualifications
-
2–4+ years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or community engagement (non-profit experience is an asset).
-
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and channels.
-
Experience creating and scheduling digital content; comfortable using basic design tools (Canva and/or Adobe).
-
Ability to interpret analytics and report on performance using simple metrics and insights.
-
Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
-
Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset.
What We Offer
