
POST OF CASHIER
The Board of the Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority (AASPA) wishes to inform the staff of a job vacancy within the AASPA.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill one (1) vacant post of Cashier in the Corporate Division of the Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority (AASPA).
Duties to include:
- Receive payments from customers
- Generate and issue accurate receipts for payments
- Balance daily receipts to monies received
- Prepare payments received and cash summary reports
- Verify and record daily receipts for bank deposits
- Account for and handover cash to Accounts Assistant Receivables at close of day or when requested
- Update relevant databases in relation to all transactions before the end of each business day
- Participate in disaster management activities designed to prepare for, mitigate against and respond to disaster events
- Perform other related duties as required by the job function assigned Accounts Supervisor

- Must be organized, accurate, thorough and able to monitor work for quality
- Strong telephone, email and in person communication skills
- Must have the ability to keep sensitive information CONFIDENTIAL

- Detail oriented and organized
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction and be able to improve performance through management feedback
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software a plus

The requisite Knowledges’ and skills are obtained in the acquisition of a certificate in either:
Qualifications:
- 4 CXC passes, English, Mathematics, and Office Administration/EDPM are required.
- CSEC Accounts would be an asset
Experience:
- 1- year experience in a similar or related job
Regulatory Requirements
- Colored copy of passport
- Two passport sized Photographs
- Copies of qualifications and or certifications
- 5-year employment history and/or activity history (2021 – 2026) to include written letters from employers covering the years of employment. Letters must include the following:
- Employment period (day/month/year)
- Must be on company letter head
