VACANCY NOTICE
POST OF PORT ATTENDANT
The Board of the Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority (AASPA) wishes to inform the general public of a job vacancy within the AASPA.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill one (1) vacant post of Port Attendant in the Anguilla Air & Sea Ports Authority.
Duties to include:
- Clean all public areas and back of house areas daily
- Ensure the washrooms are properly cleaned and refill all amenities etc as required
- Clean furnishings to include chairs, desks, counters, when necessary.
- Identify and report possible damages and areas that require repairs.
- Sweep and mop floors,vacuums/buffs floors, clean carpets, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Removing debris and keeping all port areas neat and tidy.
- Disinfecting searing, interior trash can etc
- Clean and maintain locker rooms, staff and public toilets
- Act in accordance with directions of the PHM in relation to the cleaning
- Follow the mixing process as per guidelines provided.
- Participate in disaster management activities designed to prepare for, mitigate against and respond to disaster events
- Perform any other related duties required by the job function or assigned by the Piers & Harbour Master

The incumbent must possess the following:
The post holder must:
- Be able to communicate effectively in person and in writing
- Is required to have 2 years’ experience in a similar or related post
Regulatory Requirements
- Colored copy of passport
- Two passport sized Photographs
- Copies of qualifications and or certifications
- 5-year employment history and/or activity history (2021 – 2026)
- Written documentation from employers covering the years of employment
