VACANCY NOTICE
POST OF AERONAUTICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS ASSISTANT
The Board of the Anguilla Air and Sea Ports Authority (AASPA) wishes to inform the general public of a job vacancy within AASPA.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill a vacant post of Aeronautical Information Systems Assistant in the Anguilla Air & Sea Ports Authority.
Duties to include:
- Responsible for the reception, verification, change and distribution of flight plans and associated messages, (e.g. departure and arrival messages) on the CRONOS & CADAS systems.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing messages on the systems and identify and correct problems by using appropriate guidelines.
- Verify and control the quality of the raw aeronautical data supplied, based on the defined quality requirements.
- Produce, maintain and update the relevant elements of the Integrated Aeronautical Information Documentation:
- Comply with the national and international regulations that ensure the effective operation of the Aeronautical Information Service in terms of pre-flight and post-flight information, and flight plan processing, when applicable
- For the dissemination of Aeronautical Information of concern to pilots, aircraft operators and other Air Traffic control authorities on an international basis
- Compile Aerodrome movement logs relevant to Air Traffic Services daily/monthly/annually as required
- Collect NOTAM/SNOWTAM/ASHTAM requests that are required for publication.
- Responsible for collection, recording of obstacles
- Ensure that NOTAM, PIB and crew briefings are available upon request.
- Responsible for the collection of information relating to the adoption of the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP)
- Comply with ICAO flight plans regulations.
- Obtain the necessary inputs to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the unit.
- Contribute to the administrative support to AIS.
- Log reports on incidents which occur during their hours of duty though an Anguilla Aviation Daily Occurrence Reports (AADOR)
- Responsible for alerting the appropriate organizations regarding
- aircraft in need of search and rescue services and to assist such organizations as required.
- Responsible for the preparation of statistical data of flight and aerodrome
- Ensure that approval of overflight permits, arrivals / departures at airports and diplomatic permits and Prior Permission Requisition PPR are done.
- Responsible for the creation of approval of overflight permits, arrivals / departures at airports and diplomatic permits and Prior Permission Requisition (PPR)
- Responsible for the input of information for the billing of terminal and airport charges system.
- Ensure that approved visitors to the AIS office maintain proper decorum and do not interfere with the unit’s operations.
- Participate in all airport emergency exercise drills.
- Participate in disaster management activities designed to prepare for, mitigate against and respond to disaster events
- Perform any other duties as required by the job function.

Qualifications
- Possession of at least Five (5) CSEC including English and Math or equivalent;
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and aviation or aeronautical-related studies would be an asset.
- These knowledge’s’ and skills are obtained in the acquisition of training by an On-the-Job Instructor.
Training and Experience:
- 1–3-year experience in aeronautical information services, including data management.
- Additional education or training in business administration.
- Proficiency in using specialized software and tools for aeronautical information management.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in aeronautical information management.
Regulatory Requirements
- Colored copy of passport

- Copies of qualifications and or certifications
- 5-year employment history and/or activity history (2021 – 2026)
- Written documentation from employers covering the years of employment
